中国の明時代末期に日本向けに景徳鎮で焼かれた「古染付」のうつわ。 伏せると兜（かぶと）の姿に似ていることから、兜鉢（かぶとばち）と呼ばれる器形です。　 中央には草原の飛蝗（バッタ）の図。その上方には、菊と思われる花が見えます。 周囲の窓絵には簡略化された花や葉の文様、宝尽くしの一種です。 鍔縁状に広がる口縁には、モンスターマスクとも呼ばれる鬼面が描かれています。 口縁はやや稜花（輪花）状に成形されています。 状態：口縁に虫喰い。 口径　14.2cm　 高さ　4.8cm 重さ　約157g 磁器 中国・景徳鎮 明時代末期　17世紀 A charming blue and white bowl with design of grasshopper and chrysanthemum in the center.
