京焼の名工、九代帯山与兵衛の京名所の小皿です。
十枚組で入手したうちの一枚で、金閣寺が描かれています。
裏面の高台の内側に「帯山」印があります。

金閣寺（鹿苑寺）の「陸舟（りくしゅう）の松」は、京都三松のひとつに数えられる名松です。
帆掛け船のような姿がその名の由来で、足利義満が育てた盆栽を移植したものとも伝えられています。

舎利殿金閣の屋根の頂には鳳凰像。
