古伊万里のうつわの中央には、枝ぶりのよい松と梅。
周囲は８つの区画が設けられて、桜花や唐草文が交互に配されています。

松、梅、桜の組み合わせの由来は定かではありません。
が・・・
花札では
1月「松に鶴」
2月「梅に鶯」
3月「桜に幕」
がそれぞれの月札となっています。
1月から3月までの「花」が、このひとつのうつわに凝縮されているという、興味深いデザインなのです。

裏面の高台内には「大明成化年製」銘。
裏面の高台のまわりには、唐草文がめぐらされています。

いずれの文様も丁寧な描き込みです。

状態：見込に鉄粉、成形時の凹み。
