呉須赤絵のうつわ。
大輪の牡丹（富貴花）のかたわらに、鳳凰が立ち姿でたたずんでいます。
周囲には、大きな赤玉が4つ配された、吉祥のうつわです。

裏面の高台内は無釉となっています。
興味深いのは、そこに隅で描かれた扇。
いたずら描きのようにも見えますが、吉祥のうつわに描かれた「末広（扇）」には、何か意図めいたものを感じるのです。

状態：擦れ。口縁に虫喰い。見込に焼成時の窯疵。木箱入。
